Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Chesapeake, Virginia. The role runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with a standard 8-hour day.

The PT will supervise PTAs, bill per guidelines, and coordinate with medical center staff to ensure a team-based plan of care. New grads are welcome to apply; 1 year of PT experience preferred, but 6 months may be considered for exceptional backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active state license to practice physical therapy.
• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill for services following facility guidelines and regulations.
• Interface with physicians to plan and adjust patient care.
• Evaluate patients and create/modifiy care plans as needed.
• Document accurately within state and insurance guidelines.
