Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract in Rapid City, SD. The PTA will support licensed PTs by implementing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress in a collaborative rehab setting.

You must hold an active South Dakota PTA license (or be eligible to obtain) and maintain current BLS certification. Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT.
• Document patient treatment and responses accurately.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to achieve positive outcomes.
