Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) seeks a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment in Massachusetts. Position:

Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Support patient recovery by applying evidence-based practices, documenting clinical information accurately, and participating in patient care conferences and utilization reviews. Assist in obtaining medical equipment and support supervision of students as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid state licensure as a PTA, relevant educational background, at least 1 year of experience, and preferably experience in long-term care or rehabilitation. Knowledge of APTA guidelines, ethics, and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and families.
