Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a SNF assignment in Ahoskie, North Carolina. You’ll work with patients under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to help them move better, feel better, and stay active.

This travel position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a 13-week duration, with benefits and housing support to help you focus on patient care while exploring the region.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State License required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required (AHA or ARC).
• CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Associate degree).
• NPTE certification for PTAs (FSBPT).

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help patients regain mobility and function during therapy sessions.
• Follow established treatment plans and document patient progress.

• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
