Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 39-week assignment in Arlington, VA. This position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts and the opportunity to impact patient mobility and quality of life across diverse clinical settings.

You’ll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-based plans, collaborate with a clinical team, and maintain documentation while enjoying competitive pay, day-one benefits, and support from experienced recruiters.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate in physical therapy preferred.
• Experience as PT preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate physical therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety standards.
