Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 9-week assignment in Acworth, GA. The role offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour days, working in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Assist with discharge planning for transitions to home or community settings.
