Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a Critical Access Hospital in Alaska. The role involves treating patients across outpatient, inpatient, and SNF settings, with a flexible day schedule and travel across facilities.

Requirements include BLS, active AK license, and Epic charting experience. Pediatric experience is preferred. Housing is provided, and two supervisory references are required. Open to first-time travelers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• BLS certification required
• Active AK state license required (compact license accepted)
• Epic charting experience required
• Pediatric and adolescent experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services across outpatient, inpatient, and SNF settings in a Critical Access Hospital
• Develop and implement evaluation and treatment plans
• Document patient progress using Epic charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team across settings
• Float within scope to cover Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Travel to sister facilities as needed
