Health Here is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, develop, and implement care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. The role requires coordinating with physicians and medical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a valid state PT license, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of experience. Travel flexibility, strong anatomy knowledge, and excellent documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged to apply).
• Valid state PT license and BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PTAs and support staff.
• Bill and document within facility and insurance guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with medical personnel and physicians to coordinate care.
• Assess and modify treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment.
• Use medical computer systems for daily tasks.
• Document patient progress and care plans.
