Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Redding, California. The PT will develop and execute a plan of care, supervise staff, and coordinate with center personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS and state licensing. The 13-week assignment offers 40 hours weekly with a travel pay package and potential stipends.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience; exceptional candidate with background may have 6 months experience accepted.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create plan of care.
• Modify plan of care based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center EMR systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
