Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Walla Walla, WA. The PT will work 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts during daytime hours, in an acute care setting, with responsibilities including evaluation, plan of care development, and supervision of staff.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months of PT experience, current BLS, and active state licensure. The role involves documentation, interdepartmental collaboration, and use of hospital systems within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months to 1 year of PT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification required.
• Must hold state-specific PT licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy, physiology.
• Ability to supervise PTAs and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based plan of care.
• Understand and use adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
