American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting in North Carolina. Candidates must hold NC licensure and have at least 1 year of experience. The role involves inpatient rehab-like duties with patient education and home exercise programs.

Travel assignments are available, with benefits including housing allowances, travel and licensure reimbursements, and weekly payroll. Day shift, Tue-Sat, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with assignments based on patient volume.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NC license required if applicable.
• Charting system experience required.
• Skills in assessment, body mechanics, and home exercise programs needed.
• Experience with orthopedic and neurologic patient populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in Acute Care or Inpatient Rehab Center, with assignment based on patient volume.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
• Patient population includes orthopedic, spinal, and neurologic conditions such as post-op joint replacements, stroke, TBI, and Parkinson's disease.
• Settings include Acute Care, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Responsibilities include patient and family education and development of home exercise programs.
• Facility conducts its own pre-employment drug screening in addition to standard credentialing requirements.
• Candidates residing in Moore County are not eligible for this travel position.
• Previous employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be considered.
• RTO must be disclosed prior to assignment start.
