Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey. The role requires evaluating and implementing a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance across settings.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional cases) and hold BLS and state-specific licenses. The position emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and adherence to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Follow state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand and use adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following guidelines.
