Job summary

Supplemental Health Care seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital in Arroyo Grande, California. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and the chance to work in a dynamic clinical setting while traveling or staying local.

Qualified candidates must hold California PT licensure, be graduate from an accredited program, BLS certified, and have at least 1 year of PT experience. Excellent communication with patients and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in California.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Physical Therapist.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and other caregivers.
• Possibly delegate and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
