American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care hospital setting in Urbana, IL. New graduates considered. Epic EMR experience required.

Assignment Details

• Location: Urbana, IL
• Start Date: 06/29/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• Shift: Day, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (Weekend/holiday PRN as needed)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages
• Modify plans of care based on patient response and evidence
• Perform patient examinations using reliable and valid methods
• Design individualized plans of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge planning
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers using relevant teaching methods
• Produce clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the broader medical team to communicate patient status, activity recommendations, and discharge disposition
• Provide supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and students

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Assignments with Carle Health require a 6‑month break after one continuous year before returning to any Carle Health location
• Restorative Time Off (RTO) not to exceed 7 days per 13‑week contract
• Candidates must interview with the facility leader as part of the selection process

Compensation
