Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for various patient populations in an acute care setting, with a 13-week duration and 40 hours per week, typically on day shifts.

New grads are encouraged to apply, but 1 year of experience is preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines for the facility.
• Understand the PT board's rules and regulations for the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify plan of care as indicated by patient’s condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks and provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
