Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 52-week assignment in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. The role offers 40 hours per week, days, with travel benefits and a focus on direct patient care.

The PT must hold a doctorate or a bachelor’s degree plus NPTE, be a graduate of an accredited program, and maintain CPR certification, with at least one year of experience and active licensure in the state or in process.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Registered PT/PT or in process
• Must have graduated from an accredited school
• CPR certification current
• Other requirements determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods
• Develop a plan of care and provide skilled PT services according to physician orders
