Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Iron River, Michigan. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and implement a plan of care, and collaborate with center staff to ensure coordinated treatment.

The position requires at least 6 months of experience, BLS, and state licensure. New grads are encouraged to apply. Expect supervising duties, documentation duties, and interaction with physicians in a hospital/acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads welcomed.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required before starting assignment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and perform bending/stooping as needed.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy staff; supervise technicians as needed.
• Document timely and accurately following state/insurance guidelines.
• Interface with center staff and physicians to execute a team-based plan of care.
• Utilize facility computer systems for daily tasks and bill appropriately.
