Fusion Medical Staffing—Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Reno, Nevada. Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in Nevada.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Preferred: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Preferred: Relevant experience; new graduates welcome.
- Other certifications or licenses may be required.
Work Requirements
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Hours: 40 per week, 8‑hour days.
- Shift: Day shift.

Essential Work Functions
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs.
- Implement treatment plans using various techniques.
- Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely and effectively.
- Assess progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs, injury prevention, and self‑management.
- Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
- Collaborate in discharge planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency in reading/understanding written and verbal instructions.
- PC skills.
- Physical abilities: remain in stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend.
- Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel.
- Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, push/pull, assist with procedures and equipment.
- Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contacts, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently with occasional supervision.
- Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
