Medpro Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a travel allied health position in Oakland, CA. The shift is 5x8-hour days, starting on 05/19/2025, for a duration of 13 weeks. The pay rate is $2,445 per week.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor's degree with NPTE certification
• Graduated from an accredited school
• At least one year of experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist or in the process of licensure application
• Current CPR certification
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility
• Weekly pay with direct deposit

Duties and Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including providing direct patient care, establishing and administering treatment plans, setting achievable goals, documenting patient conditions, and educating patients and families.

• Develops a plan of care for each patient
• Provides skilled physical therapy interventions as per physician orders
• Assesses patient needs, plans, evaluates, and modifies care to meet goals
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care
