Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 16-week assignment in White River Junction, Vermont. The role expects 36 hours per week with 12-hour days, and requires BLS and state licensing. New grads encouraged to apply with 1 year of experience preferred, and a stipend may be provided.

Immediate travel opening with a focus on quality patient care. The PT will oversee staff, handle documentation, and coordinate with Medical Center personnel to ensure an effective plan of care

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year travel PT experience preferred.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting and follow facility guidelines.
• Understand state PT board rules and regulations and comply accordingly.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely, accurate documentation meeting state and/or insurance guidelines.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in White River Junction, VT. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

As a PT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
