Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Jacksonville, Texas. The role requires a Texas LPT license (or compact) and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred, with BLS certification

• Valid LPT license in Texas (or compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only).

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement physical therapy care for assigned patients.
• Ensure accountability and responsibility for patient physical therapy services.
• Adhere to all standards and regulations of the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
• Provide technical therapy care, including appropriate supplies, equipment, and interventions.
• Collect relevant patient data from medical charts and healthcare team members; consult with physicians as needed.
• Independently assess various patient types assigned.
• Identify additional patient needs during evaluation and exercise sound judgment in requesting or scheduling further tests.
• Interpret evaluation results and set relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable therapy goals.
• Reassess patient progress regularly in accordance with department and regulatory guidelines.
• Recommend and discuss appropriate therapy equipment with patients and families.
