Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Rockford, IL. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting, coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure an evidence-based, team-centered approach.

Requirements include 6 months of PT experience (new grads considered), BLS and state licensing. The role requires standing/walking for extended periods and knowledge of anatomy and medical

The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.TasksAs a PT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facilityUnderstand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective stateInterface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of careUnderstand adaptive equipmentEvaluate and create a plan of careModify plan of care as indicated based on patient's conditionUse Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasksProvide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelinesRequirementsMust have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
