Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Camden, South Carolina. The PT will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

We offer a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, shift 8 hours during days, and requirements include BLS and state-specific licensing. New grads are encouraged to apply and exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required and active state licensure.
• 1 year PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within facility following guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center staff to plan care.

• Utilize Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely documentation compliant with state/insurance rules.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Camden, South Carolina.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Camden, SC. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Tasks

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of careModify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
