Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Charlotte, MI. The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates) with a 13-week duration and 40 hours per week, dayshift. Start date is 11/09/2026; employment type is Travel.

The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care, supervise PTAs, and work with center personnel to ensure a team-focused approach while complying with state regulations and billing procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• 1 year travel PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility.

Responsibilities

As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Tasks

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
