Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Brunswick, GA. The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience, with 6 months considered for exceptional candidates. Must hold a state PT license and BLS certification.

You will supervise PTAs, bill per facility guidelines, and collaborate with center staff to deliver coordinated care. Candidates should be able to stand/walk for long periods and apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to plan

• BLS certification is required before starting the assignment.
• New grads may apply; 6 months of travel PT experience may be accepted for exceptional candidates.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Brunswick, GA. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
