TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Marietta, GA. This 13‑week assignment requires 40 hours per week, with a standard 8‑hour day shift.

The PT will evaluate and implement care plans for diverse patient populations in acute care, supervising PTAs and coordinating with physicians. Applicants should have at least 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred) and must hold BLS and a state license.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting and follow facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital computer systems and ensure timely documentation.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Marietta, GA. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Tasks

As a PT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
