Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a traveling Outpatient Physical Therapist for assignments in Macomb, Michigan. The position requires a PT degree, active MI license, and eligibility for a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and potential floating to another clinic.

You will work Monday–Friday with two late shifts, serving adult orthopedics and sports medicine patients, using NextGen for documentation and contributing to patient recovery and care plans.

Qualifications

• PT degree from an accredited school approved by APTA.
• Active State License to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• DPT.
• MI license to start.
• HBV vaccination required.
• TB test required.
• Flu vaccination required.
• Tdap required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to adult orthopedic, sports medicine and neurological patients.
• Document patient progress and maintain NextGen charting.
• Collaborate with clinic team and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Assignment Details

• Monday–Friday schedule.
• Two late shifts required.
• Clinic hours are Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Productivity expectation is 48 patients per week.
• Evaluation times range from 30 to 60 minutes.
• Patient population includes adult orthopedic, sports medicine, and some neurological patients.
• Cases include musculoskeletal conditions.
• Documentation system: NextGen.
• Potential floating to another clinic may be requested, but it is not mandatory.
