Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in McDonough, GA. Immediate opening with 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be accepted. You will evaluate and implement care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities include supervising PTAs and staff, billing per policy, collaborating with physicians, and maintaining thorough documentation. Must have BLS and state licensure; standing/walking for extended periods is required.

Qualifications

TravelWe are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Mcdonough, GA. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.TasksAs a PT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facilityUnderstand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective stateInterface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of careUnderstand adaptive equipmentEvaluate and create a plan of careModify plan of care as indicated based on patient's conditionUse Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasksProvide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelinesRequirementsMust have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
