Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Fairlawn, New Jersey. This role requires 6 months of experience and BLS certification, with state licensing as required. The schedule is 35 hours per week, over 8-hour days, for 13 weeks, with start date 10/19/2026.

The PT will oversee PTAs and staff, coordinate with medical teams, and ensure compliant care plans, documentation, and billing in a fast-paced travel setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff and billing within the setting following guidelines.
• Understand the PT board's rules and regulations and comply with state requirements.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Assess patient condition and modify the plan of care as indicated.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Pay package

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 35.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
