Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 15-week assignment in New Mexico. The travel contract offers 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility, function, and quality of life, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong evaluation, treatment-planning, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new clinical environment.
• Commitment to the full 15-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic exercises and interventions.
• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, mobility, coordination, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote patient safety throughout treatment sessions.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
