Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Socorro, NM. The role focuses on evaluating and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore independence in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

You will work 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift, under a supportive clinical team that provides comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation for travel professionals.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
