Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Suffolk, VA. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain within hospitals, clinics, and rehab settings.

The role requires a valid Physical Therapy license, current BLS, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. Travel positions offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits with dedicated clinical support.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia (or applicable state regulations).
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association/AHA or American Red Cross).
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and prevention strategies.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
