Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Gloucester, VA. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and an opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a facility setting.

Requires active Physical Therapy license in Virginia and current BLS. Travel experience is a plus, with a supportive clinical team and comprehensive benefits provided by Fusion. New grads welcome with relevant credentials.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and ensure maintenance/calibration of devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe environment adhering to infection control and safety standards.
