Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Simpsonville, SC. You will work a 40-hour week in a dayshift schedule and oversee therapy staff while coordinating closely with Medical Center personnel.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of PT experience (6 months accepted for strong candidates), BLS, and state licensure. This travel role emphasizes comprehensive documentation and adherence to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians to plan care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create plans of care.
• Modify plans based on patient condition and document per guidelines.
• Utilize hospital systems for daily tasks and timely documentation.
