Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Banner Elk, NC. This position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts in a clinical setting, providing patient care across hospitals and clinics.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license, has a BLS certification, and may be a new graduate or experienced professional. Travel benefits and a supportive team are provided to ensure successful patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe environment following infection control and safety guidelines.
