Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Luray, Virginia. The PT will work 40 hours per week on a 13-week contract, with a 10-hour shift during days, and an immediate start date of 11/23/2026.

Travel experience is preferred, and licensing requirements include state-specific credentials and BLS. Responsibilities include supervising staff, documenting care, and coordinating with medical personnel to implement a patient-focused plan of care.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of PT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification is required and state-specific licensing is needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following setting guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians for plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/modify plans of care.
• Use hospital systems and complete timely documentation per guidelines.
