Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fruit Cove, FL. The role offers a 40-hour workweek, 8-hour shifts, and a dynamic clinical team within various settings including hospitals and clinics.

The ideal candidate holds an active Physical Therapy license in Florida and a current BLS, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. New grads are welcome to apply, and travel compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred
• New graduates welcome to apply
• Other licenses or certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and identify functional limitations and treatment needs using standardized tests and history
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain using evidence-based techniques
• Operate and maintain therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety standards
• Pursue quality assurance and ongoing professional development
• Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home settings
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
