Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fort Myers, FL. Start ASAP, 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts in a facility setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a valid license, is eligible for BLS, and can work in hospitals, clinics, or rehab centers. New grads welcome with appropriate credentials and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehab programs based on assessments.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate equipment safely and calibrate devices.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection controls.
• Engage in QA and professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for transitions.
