Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in New Milford, Connecticut. The PT will manage evaluation, plan of care, and collaboration with center staff to support patient needs.

Requirements include 1 year of PT experience (6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensing; 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, travel through CT. There is a tax-free stipend as applicable.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience required; new grads encouraged.
• BLS certification and state-specific PT licensing required.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and knowledge of anatomy/physiology/medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PTA board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment used for patient care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following guidelines.
