Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Danbury, CT is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days, and collaborate with center staff to deliver patient-centered care.

The role requires 6 months of PT experience, BLS, and CT licensure. Exceptional candidates with different backgrounds may be considered. This travel position offers competitive compensation and benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; new grads considered.
• BLS certification and CT state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and perform related PT duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff
• Bill within the setting following guidelines
• Follow PT board rules and state regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care based on patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely documentation per guidelines
