Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Floyds Knobs, IN. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain across hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers, while delivering evidence-based care with strong communication and teamwork.

The role requires a PT license, BLS, and preferably a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads are welcome; travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• Physical Therapy experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, exams, and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and prevention strategies.
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled treatment environment.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice.
