Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a Springfield, Missouri assignment. You will assess patients, deliver rehabilitation, and coordinate with the care team under physician orders.

Requirements include a Doctorate or DPT/BPT with NPTE, accredited school graduation, CPR, and a minimum one year of experience. The 13-week assignment is 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients needing rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer treatment plans with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Document and educate patients and families on physical therapy methods.
• Develop plans of care and deliver skilled therapy under physician orders.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals.
