Job summary

The Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in hospitals, clinics, and rehab settings. Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license (state requirements)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
• PT experience preferred; new grads welcome
• Other certifications or licences may be required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention
• Maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety standards
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development
• Assist with discharge planning for community or home settings
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
