Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments across hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers in Baytown, Texas.

The therapist will create personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy, requiring strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to high‑quality patient care. A 13-week travel assignment offers dedicated support from our recruitment team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license required per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and histories to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain calibration.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings.
