Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring acute care and inpatient rehab/SNF experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital unit with approximately 899 beds
• Patient ratio of approximately 12-14 patients per therapist
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule, 7-3:30 or 8-4:30
• Floats between rehab and acute care areas
• Weekend rotation required, at least 2 weekend days in a 4-week block schedule, including holiday coverage

Requirements

• Acute care experience required
• Inpatient rehab acute care or SNF experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• License required if applicable
• Must not have employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• ICU and wound care experience preferred
• Responsibilities include patient evaluations and treatments
• Best fit is a positive, collaborative, and proactive communicator
• Scrub color/attire is hunter green
• Nail policy prohibits fake nails, dips, or gels; nails must be kept short
