American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in San Antonio, Texas. This travel assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on days (8:00 AM–5:00 PM).

Experience in inpatient rehab, BLS certification, and a current license (where required) are preferred. Candidates should be able to work as part of a large team; weekend shifts may be required, and candidates within a 50-mile radius are encouraged to apply.

Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring basic inpatient rehab knowledge and BLS certification.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 32 beds
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Unit staffed with approximately 35 therapists and 50 nurses, including 8 OTs and 8 PTs on day shift
• Expected treatment time of 5-6 hours per patient
• Equipment used includes H200/L300 and BURT
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Typical procedures include ADLs and standard inpatient rehab evaluations and treatments
• Possible floating to other Methodist Inpatient Rehab units
• Minimum of 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week period
