The Role

Physical therapists evaluate how patients move, set treatment goals, and deliver hands‑on care, therapeutic exercise and patient education, documenting each visit. A skilled nursing facility cares for residents recovering after a hospital stay as well as long‑term residents, so plans of care range from short‑term rehab to keeping function.
