Job summary

Ironside Human Resources is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for an outpatient role north of Bakersfield, CA. The position offers $75.00/hour with housing provided at no cost to the traveler.

The Travel PT will typically handle about 20 patients per day and work on 13- or 26-week contracts. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and 1–2 years of experience are required, with strong anatomy/physiology knowledge and excellent patient communication.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a PT or similar role.
• DPT degree required.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
• Excellent communication and empathy with patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with movement issues using personalized plans.
• Travel to a site north of Bakersfield and provide outpatient PT services.
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 20 patients.
• Work on 13- or 26-week contract assignments.

Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity:

• Strictly outpatient
  
• Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with movement issues from injuries or conditions, creating personalized plans using exercises, and manual therapy
  
• Travel Physical Therapist will average about 20 patients per day
  
• 13 or 26 week contract
  
• Assess patient strength, range of motion, balance, and functional capacity to determine needs

Travel Physical Therapist Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience at least
  
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
