Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Preferred customer service experience in retail or service environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and verify labeling accuracy; perform data entry as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and storage as required by test order.
• Research test/client information and confirm/verify orders using lab systems or directory of services.
• Provide professional, respectful, and efficient service to patients and clients; communicate collection procedures clearly.
