Job summary
CommonSpirit Mercy Hospital - Durango seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a travel assignment of 13 weeks, starting late October 2026. Requirements include a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license, BLS (AHA) certification, and at least 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
Qualifications
- Experience with sterile compounding in a hospital setting.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license required.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Pyxis deliveries and medication dispensing
- Handling outdates and inventory management
- Crash cart checks and refills
- Phone triage and respond to medication messages
- Maintain electronic health record workflow in hospital pharmacy
